This is why you come to the New Forest. The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable and a good base to explore the New Forest as well as having great views itself, we just had to walk a few moments from our door to be met with horses and cows roaming the streets. Our kids loved it being so close to nature.
We were there for six days and could have stayed longer so much to see and do we are already planning our next trip to Oakbank.

We have stayed in many new forest cottages before but found that Oakbank was definitely the best by far. We absolutely had a great time there and being so close to walks especially bolderwood was great for a day out.

The walk to Lyndhurst only took ten minutes and there were some great places to eat , must mention the thatched pub at the end of the lane had a lovely evening there and could stroll back to our accommodation with no need to drive.

We must say thank you again for a lovely comfortable place to stay in such a beautiful setting and for such a warm welcome.
